Drumm’s bonus, just a drop in the HSE ocean of 2007 bonus payments

Brendan Drumm’s bonus is entirely inappropriate. I think he is over paid anyway. And it’s not just me who thinks that. The Government’s Higher Review Group on Remuneration in 2007 said that Drumm’s salary of €370,000 base was personally negotiated  and recommended the next HSE CEO should be paid a full salary not more than €303,000.

THe performances by Mary Harney and Liam Downey on Wednesday shows bad judgement on their behalf and just how out of touch they are with the majority of people living in it.

I really think Drumm should provide leadership and he should not accept the €70,000 bonus for 2007. THE HSE paid out €1.1 million in bonuses in 2007!

He is certainly overpaid. We couldn’t believe it when we heard about his bonus. Just when you think this country can’t get any worse, it does.
